Hello and welcome!

I’m a gut-health nutritional therapist and former journalist writing about how to nourish ourselves through real food, simply and practically.

You’ll receive weekly articles with the latest news, views, reviews, and bang-up-to-date trends and meal ideas with a gut-health-to-power-your-overall- health twist which I hope will inform and motivate you to live your best life!

A bit more about me…

Jeannette, registered nutritional therapist (BSc Hons mBANT CNHC)

I am best known for my work on gut health through my trail-blazing book The Gut Makeover (first edition 2015 at the front end of this movement!). I also do a lot of work with gentle fasting and wrote this book in 2021 - The 10 Hour Diet.

I have a science degree and 14 years’ clinical practice experience 1-2-1 both online, and formerly in Harley St in London in-person with referrals from private GPs, gastroenterologists, and psychiatrists.

You can also find me running group gut-health workshops, retreats and cookery classes from time to time.

Jeannette the journalist

Before a career change, I was a senior journalist at The Times and then travel editor of The Observer in the UK.

So as well as a nutritionist you are getting an experienced writer - writing with clarity to tight word counts (to save you time).
